Today’s double Rebekah Platt day! Unfortunately, her Hobbit update doesn’t include the following tidbits just announced: Luke Evans has been cast as Bard the Bowman and Benedict Cumberbatch will be voicing the character of both Smaug the Dragon and the Necromancer in The Hobbit.

I haven’t been very active on this blog lately, have I? I’ve been busy with lots of stuff, including this bad boy:


I’m not sure youtube really does it justice, and I hate youtube’s jerky way of handling pans, but it’s still the best recap of all the LOTR DVDs and Blu-ray releases out there, including the new Blu-ray collection that will be hitting store shelves later this month!
